Overview
Spring formulated a strategy in support of proposals for a replacement dwelling within the wider grounds of the Grade I Boughton House, and Grade I Listed Parkland.
Working with the architects, Adam Architecture, heritage and landscape consultants we were able to ensure there was no issue surrounding the loss of the existing gamekeepers' cottage.
Extensive discussions with Kettering BC and Historic England resulted in a classically designed replacement dwelling that was significantly larger than the existing dwelling.
The proposals also reinstate key elements of the historic landscape including a new tree lined avenue which formed part of the former Duke's ride through the Estate, which was welcomed by the Gardens Trust.
